東日本大震災！わずか10分足らずの地震の揺れで引き起こされました大災害‥多数の方々の被災・犠牲を重く受け止めてます。
心よりお見舞い申し上げますと、ともに災害地にて最大限の努力でお働きなされる方々に敬意を表します。
今‥平穏な出雲の地に在り唯々に平常通りに食し働き、そして眠る。 東方1500キロメートル先には眠りもならず僅かな食で命を繋ぎ‥放射能被曝に怯えながら一日を又、一日を過ごしいられる此の日本国同朋多数の方々‥。 信じ難い事なれど是は事実‥ 未曽有の災害を前に今、思い巡らすは幾多の国難を乗り越えし明治生まれの我が父・祖父を始め時代を生き貫かれた人々の生き態生き方。
島根県雲南市で御生誕・永井隆医学博士は長崎の原爆投下で自身が被曝されつつ多数の被災の方々を長崎医科大学の部下に「一大事は是の事也」と叱咤激励されながら救助に命を賭して活躍された尊い事実・・ 約百年の月日を数える1912年12月27日‥島根県半島に点在する漁港の一つ塩津港の漁船26隻が（
艪櫂で操作木造和船
）漁に出たところ午前10時頃から、地元で「潮巻き」と呼ぶ大嵐に遭遇・・救援を隣村に以来・・。その小さな漁港である唯浦（現在の出雲市美保町）より４隻の和船が荒れ狂う波に向かい艪櫂をそろえ乗り出し救助して帰港するが以前３隻が不明のまま・・その救助に１５名の若者達は、昼食を摂ることもなく再び荒れ狂う海に船出・・・ 再びとは港に帰って来ない15名の若達・・・ 遥かなる明治・大正時代‥我が祖父・父が生きた時代‥。 『共生』『公共』の言葉は知らなくとも
大方の日本人は、その公共・共生の本質的な事が何で在るかを身につけ事・有れば、その『命』より来る情動にゆり動かされ働きが発揮された時代・・明治の人々。 「一人の命は地球より重い」との概念的な言葉でなく『いのち』を儚いはかない生命と捉えいた時代・・ 只今の国の未曾有の大災害を前にし、国民の一人、出雲人として我が父・吾が先人に倣い働く時機に臨する。謹書
